It is 10 years today since the amazing "Protest the Pope" march in London.
20,000 people came, marched, and dedicated it all to the survivors of clergy abuse. I was honoured to be the first speaker at that march, shaking in my shoes when I saw the sea of faces, but held up (literally!) by the wonderful Marco Hackney! It was a life-changing day for me and many others, it sparked the creation of Survivors Voice Europe and many more marches and rallies.
Has anything changed in the Vatican? has it F...k!!
But we are stronger together now, and they have paled into insignificance and are of little consequence. Thank you, everyone, who helped make this possible and gave us wings!
